P4 | Failure & Fear: Shaking Off The Past, Facing The Future (Part 2)

Today you must continue with what you did yesterday to FIRE Diabetes In 40 Days.

HERE IS YOUR FIRE AWAY TO-DO LIST FOR TODAY: 

  1. Watch the short video, reminding you what to do today. 
  2. …(Or listen to the podcast. Nothing to FIRE the traffic, like our daily podcasts.)
  3. Yesterday, were you able to watch the video from Dr George Roux, our psychologist and pastoral therapist? Perhaps you can watch the video again today, adding to the notes you made yesterday.
  4. Did you read through the list of false thought patterns that may distract you from succeeding in your mission to FIRE Diabetes in 40 Days? Make some time today and read through it again. Tick the false thought patterns and thought mistakes that you can relate with
  5. Every night before you go to bed – over the next week – take the list and check which false thought patterns and thought mistakes resurfaced during the day. Tell these thoughts and fears – in no uncertain terms – that they are false and tell yourself how you will replace them with thoughts to encourage and assist you on your journey to FIRE Diabetes.
  6. Continue filling out yesterday’s worksheet to help prepare your mind for the journey.
  7. Once you’ve completed the FIRE Away Worksheet, share your plan of action with someone – share what you are going to do to build belief and certainty, not allowing failures and fears to derail you.
