Get into the kitchen and enjoy today’s fabulous meals – hopefully with family and friends! Share your photos on our Facebook Group. Stick to the green list! Take your prescribed food as medicine! Don’t cheat!
Remember to drink at least 2½ litres of fluids every day (e.g. water, tea, rooibos, coffee).
Add more fats to your diet. Consider taking 15ml MCT oil (or powder) once or twice a day. It is lovely on a salad.
Are you taking your supplements? Remember that cinnamon, bicarb, Vit D and magnesium are your most important friends to FIRE Diabetes.
Spend at least 15 minutes every day in prayer or meditation.
Before you go to bed, take the list and check which false thought patterns and thought mistakes resurfaced during the day. Tell these thoughts and fears – in no uncertain terms – that they are false and tell yourself how you will replace them with thoughts to encourage and assist you on your journey to FIRE Diabetes in 40 Days.
Get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Good sleep leads to lower cortisol levels, which leads to lower stress perception and better fat adaptation.
