#2 | Your Tips To FIRE Diabetes Today

YOUR TIPS TO FIRE DIABETES, TODAY:

  1. Get into the kitchen and enjoy today’s fabulous meals – hopefully with family and friends! Share your photos on our Facebook Group. Stick to the green list! Take your prescribed food as medicineDon’t cheat!
  2. Remember to drink at least 2½ litres of fluids every day (e.g. water, tea, rooibos, coffee). 
  3. Before you go to bed, take the list and check which false thought patterns and thought mistakes resurfaced during the day. Tell these thoughts and fears – in no uncertain terms – that they are false and tell yourself how you will replace them with thoughts to encourage and assist you on your journey to FIRE Diabetes in 40 Days.
  4. Are you taking your supplements? Remember that cinnamon, bicarb, Vit D and magnesium are your most important friends to FIRE Diabetes.
  • Take 1 teaspoon of fine cinnamon. Mix it with a bit of double full cream plain yogurt. Cinnamon brings down blood sugar.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda (koeksoda) with a bit of water and drink first thing in the morning. Baking soda helps to make your body less acidic and improves kidney function.
  • Vitamin D3: Take 7,000 – 10,000 IU daily (or 50,000 IU per week)
  • Elemental Magnesium: 250 to 500 mg per day
