Pre-Training Day 05 | FRIEND OR FOE? To Succeed, You Need Family, Friends and Fellow Workers to Switch Sides, Too Copy
As we progress on our journey, it’s important to address and overcome the barriers that may stand in our way. Let’s review the three dominos that need to fall to unleash your victorious mindset.
On Pre-Training Day 1 we discussed the Fall of the Big Domino:
Fixing Diabetes Is Simple: Believe it! Diabetes can be reversed, and weight loss is achievable. Embrace this truth and hold onto it throughout your journey. Trust in your ability to succeed.
On Pre-Training Day 2, 3, and 4 we focused on toppling the “internal dominos”, breaking free from falsehoods.
We discussed the six common myths that may hinder your progress: Challenge these false beliefs and refuse to let them define your potential for success. You have the power to overcome them.
We also reflected on false thought patterns and mistakes: Our minds can play tricks on us, leading us astray from our path to victory. Take control of your thoughts.
Visualise yourself triumphing over challenges, and don’t allow negative self-fulfilling prophecies to hold you back.
Refuse to believe the lies your mind tells you. Challenge notions like “all fat is bad” or negative self-perceptions.
Cultivate thoughts of self-encouragement and self-compassion. You deserve kindness and support from yourself on this journey.
Today and tomorrow (Pre-Training Day 5 & 6), we focus on Toppling the External Dominos
Shattering Excuses: Often, we use external factors as excuses for why we can’t or won’t succeed. Whether it’s other people or circumstances, it’s time to rise above these excuses.
Take ownership of your journey and empower yourself to overcome any obstacles that may arise.
As you embark on this 40-day journey to FIRE Diabetes, it’s crucial to gather a strong support team that will uplift and encourage you along the way. Surrounding yourself with positive influences is key to your success.
Today and tomorrow, we provide you with some tips on building your support team and overcoming all the external “downers”.
