FIRE Forward: Day 1
Be bold, be fearless! Today!
Today is Day 1 of FIRE Forward. You will continue replaying the past 2 weeks until:
- Type 2 Diabetes is in remission (if applicable) – that is defined as normoglycemia for at least 1 year, as indicated by at least two HbA1c measurements below 5.7% and no diabetic medications
- Fasting insulin level are below 6 mIU/L
- You reach your lean body weight
The past 2 weeks – apart from all the FIRE tips – focused on fasting. We recommend you:
- Schedule a 72 hour fast once or twice a month
- Continue with your 23 hours fasts on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are up to it, you can even go OMAD – One Meal A Day. In other words, you do a 23 hour fast every day.
